Hey there, glad I stumbled upon this sub thought the island was too quiet to have one but to my surprise it’s not lol . Anyways I mean no disrespect to the island, love how peaceful it is compared to where I’m originally from (Brooklyn born and raised) but moved here about hmmm 4 yrs ago or so and to this day I have yet to find a good pizza spot. So far I’ve tried j and r on south beach (arrochar), a couple of prontos pizza (none have hit the spot), goodfellas and a few other places. I’ve even traveled as far as south shore tottenville area (I’m from the north shore) and I’ve yet to find a pizza spot that comes close to what I’ve had in Brooklyn. Sorry to say but Brooklyn hands down makes the best pizza lol so now I come to this sub and ask for those of you who know their pizza, what pizza spot is the best here at the island that can compare to that of Brooklyn’s pizza lol i find myself leaning to j and r quite a lot but tbh it still doesn’t do it for me.Definitely would help me out here especially when my munchies kick in at night if you catch my drift lmao.
