Hello my fellow Stateballers! Today we have a very special announcement. Stateball will be participating this year in Lesser Known September. Pretty exciting news! And yes, I DO know we are 7 days late and no, I DO NOT care!

What is Lesser Known September(LKS for short) pray tell? Well it's been a long standing tradition on mainsub, r/polandball and our sister r/Polandballart , where through the month of September popularly used nations are temporarily BANNED from usage, so that the lesser known nations can shine. In the spirit of this wonderful september season, we stateball will ALSO be banning some popularly used states! Let's let the lesser-known North American subdivisions finally take the stage!

This may have you wondering what the banned states/provinces are, well HERE YOU GO!!! HERE IS THE LIST!!!!
BANNED STATES/PROVINCES THRU SEPT. 30

ALABAMA

BRITISH COLUMBIA

CALIFORNIA

FLORIDA

HAWAI'I

ILLINOIS

NEW JERSEY

NEW YORK

OHIO

ONTARIO

PENNSYLVANIA

QUEBEC

TEXAS

And that includes all major cities within them.

And here is a map of the banned states in red just in case you need it.

Keep in mind that all of the Mexican States are totally fair game.
