Hello all, I am relatively proficient (I'd like to think), but recently stumbled upon a problem.
I've been working with a large dataset code of a paper (to see if I can investage the data myself). The folder contains 20 .do files the largest having over 4K lines.
Their code is quite alright, but they have coded in on a Mac. Thus, after asking for some globals they use a ton of
"$tables/`var'_percentile.tex"
whilst windows (at least mine) looks like:
"$tables\`var'_percentile.tex"
The question is, how do I get stata to understand / means \ . Due to divisions and comments, search and replace all is not an option. I couldn't find a solution elsewhere and as I have been manually changing slashes for over 90 minutes (which is severely testing my sanity), I was hoping to find out if you guys had a solution.
Thanks!
