I'm kind of hoping it will be more like the Grand Line in One Piece more fantastical filled with both amazing force creatures and artifacts both wondrous and horrifying. Mostly I like the idea of there somehow being Hutts running it and Mandalorians enforcing their rule.

My thinking is that centuries and or thousands of years ago many species settled in the new Galaxy. I also have this theory that maybe Clones and or Death Watch remnants found their way there. I just feel like Death Watch being brought and featured so much might mean something. Perhaps while in hyperspace a faction of Death Watch got caught up in a stream of Space Whales and ended up in the new Galaxy.
