Okay so I know it was settled by the High Republic Jedi but what if it's not aligned with the Light Side? I just feel like everyone it touches suffers some misfortune. Dega and then Bode fell to the dark side. Not to mention everyone who died in pursuit of it. Also, Kata says she doesn't like it there that it felt cold and lonely. Also, Cal has been touched by the dark side in his pursuit of it and I don't think he's free of it far from it I suspect the planet slowly corrupts all who come to it. I think that's the real reason it was never found by the sith or such like because it can only be found if it wants to be and those it calls are only those it wants to corrupt.

Granted we've seen dark side planets in other lore but what if Tanalor is the most evil not because of obvious dangers but because it invites you in and slowly erodes your morality and warps what iis left?
