I’m a huge Star Wars fan. Watched everything there is to watch and it’s just not enough, I need more. Huge huge fan of Thrawn so I was thinking about Heir to the Empire but I also want to follow some cool Jedi since it’s been a minute since we got a real Jedi story ( sorry Ms. Palpatine ) . Please let me know !

Haven’t read any books no. I just got interested in Legends since I’m recent interviews with directors talking about pulling more & more from the rich legends lore. They may have retconned a lot but they’re bringing it back little by little in their own way I.e Thrawn. But I will try out your suggestion! I’ve heard of Avar Kriss I think in some video
