Hi all,

So I'm 36 and have worked in customer service all my life (retail, finance, office jobs) and I need out as I've hated it for far too long and it really does hinder my mental health.

Changing career out of customer service is hard when you have nearly 20 years experience soley in that and you're not 100% sure what you want to do.

One thing that does excite me and I have loved doing is sending cards of positivity out to anyone who wants one. I've sent out over 150 this year, and with the help of my instagram page people have donated money, items and bought from my Amazon Wishlist to help me send out as many as possible.

I am actually working on a Patreon for this purpose as well so I can send more out regularly.

I would absolutely love to do this full time as my own job, to send out random acts of kindness to others, because I know when people have done that to me it has made my day. Small gestures really do mean so much.

I'm just not sure how I can even make a living out of it. I would need £19 PA in wages to even be able to consider leaving my job and being able to afford to pay my bills and such.

Does anyone have any advise that I can look in to for how I could make this work?

I know there are lots of red tape for registering as a charity. Do I just launch the Patreon and see how it goes and maybe just make it a business if it picks up? But if I did that it would take so long to get any money as most of the money will go to paying for cards of positivity to be posted out.

Do I sack off the idea of trying to do this for a living and just resign myself to finding another 'day job'?

As I say, any suggestions or advise I'd really appreciate it at this cross roads in my life.
