Am I the only one who thinks renaming the Titan-A to Enterprise-G was disrespectful?
I didn't like it. I kinda find it disrespectful that the Titan-A was renamed to the Enterprise-G. This may ruffle a few feathers, but so be it.
According to what I've read, the renaming was done to commemorate Picard and his crew saving the Alpha Quadrant from the Borg. Umm, okay, what about commemorating the sacrifice of Captain Liam Shaw who died saving Picard and his crew, doesn't he deserve some recognition for captaining the Titan all these years and his heroic acts dying for the Federation against the Borg?
I personally think renaming the Titan-A into the Enterprise-G is a disservice to the memory of Captain Shaw.
