Just a curiosity here. What constitutes canon in Star Trek vs non-canon? Im used to Star Wars, where itās āfilms and shows yes, books noā, but there was a stellar discussion about ST:Ent (if I could link the post I would); somewhere in the discussion, someone mentioned there are 5 or so books that ārewroteā the series finale, and are considered āmore canonā than the show.
Is there an official listing of what is and isnāt canon, or is there anything that defines what is and isnāt canon? Or is it kind of a āpersonal canonā sortāve vibe?
