I live in one of the poorest countries in SE Asia, specifically where most developed countries export their trash to.

I can't talk to literally anyone else about this starseed stuff to anyone around me other than on the internet. If I don't use reddit to communicate on this sub, then what do all these discussions lead to? A virtual echo chamber?

My country is doomed to ensure that our younger generation repeats generational trauma, corrupted deeply on socio-political factors, colonized by imperial foreigners for three centuries just for our spice, rampant brain drain and the list goes on and on.

Most of my fellowmen prefer to migrate to other countries for a chance of better life. And what's left for people like me who have no financial capacity to do so? What happens to us once we can no longer pay for our hospital bills and funeral care? Will this starseed belief still seem relevant in the critical moment where we can no longer afford to eat?

I feel like my life is a fraud if I've been clinging to this starseed idea just because I have access to the internet
