Convince Me to Either Play or Continuing Ignoring Star Fox Zero
Post Body

Big Star Fox fan here. Played 64 multiplayer vs mode with friends constantly as a kid, picked star fox adventures as my free game when i purchased my GameCube as my first console i bought on my own as a child. Loved adventures so much and is probably what's responsible for me getting into TLoZ: The Wind Waker and TLo Zelda in general, which had remained one of if not my favorite single player game franchise of all time. Stayed into star fox so much as a kid back in those days that i got star fox: assault. Adored that game as well and played the multiplayer vs on that with friends a lot as well. I beat adventures and assault enough times each to lose track, and star fox characters have always been some of my favorites in super smash bros, which I've always kept up on and am an avid player of ultimate.

I recently purchased star link: battle for atlas and all of the star fox dlc on switch. I decided I'm going to properly play through and beat 64, then replay adventures, then play starlink: battle for atlas, then replay assault. I still have my wiiU, which is what i have sf64 installed on, but i completely skipped sf zero because i heard from a friend and read online that it was extremely poorly made control-wise, and on top of that is completely disconnected from any of the aforementioned star fox games story-wise. Now I'm already pretty dead set on keeping my upcoming sf playthrough the way it is now, and am still not that interested in zero, but lately i have seen some things about it on this sub that have made me slightly more curious and am open to at least learning more. Thoughts?
