Advice on Adventure Paths
Post Body

One of my friends is looking to practice being a DM and we wanted to give Starfinder a fair shake since the first time we tried it out, we got interrupted and never got back to it. We just tried the Live Free or Die AP because it sounded like a good way to get some ship mechanics in early, but our group gave up on our second mission after we barely survived a particularly rough combat. And the first missions no way to win scenario really didn't sit right with us either. Are there any APs that don't just beat down the party at every turn? I don't mean we want no challenge, but in the above AP, even when rolling well and getting the best case options, we were never meant to get a good outcome. Something was always just making our day bad.
