The model that i'm looking at is the Rosewill RK-9000, probably with the cherry MX blue switches. This model is pretty cheap (i'm not looking to spend too much) and has good reviews. This will be my first mechanical keyboard so I don't have any first hand experience with the different types of switches. My google-fu tells me that I should be looking into red or blue switches for RTS games, but I don't really know if the red's justify the 30% price increase. So is this a reasonable model for a first mechanical keyboard? and what benefits might i notice if I go for the red switches?
Also, I am looking to get a new mouse/headset if you have any additional input on that.
