In order to keep this helpful event continuing within the community, I’ve volunteered to lead the weekly organization of classes. There will always be a desire by players to improve and I’m glad we have a friendly place to meet and discuss the game so many of us enjoy.

Not much is going to change for those who have already attended some classes, but we are always open to ideas/critiques on how to improve, so now is the time to chime in. Depending on coach recruitment, we may even open up another night for those unable to make Wednesday (OR we will alternate the day).

CALL FOR COACHES Since class is mainly geared towards lower league players, we are seeking willing Diamonds/Masters to help out on class nights. Mainly coaches answer questions, offer insights on their race and the matchups, and also spar other coaches while students watch. If you would like to help out, you must commit at least 2 hours on the night of class (depending on headcount). Even if you can’t make every week, please let us know your interest. PM me your race and availability on Wednesday nights (and alternative nights that might be better).

CALL FOR STUDENTS You are the reason we run this! We enjoy helping and we don’t want any redditor forever bronze. Come hang out in a friendly atmosphere, meet fellow starcraft redditors, and play the game we all love. Be willing to listen and you’ll pick up new tips and tricks, your macro/micro will improve, and you’ll surely advance in your league!

Remember, if this is your first night, you have to fight.

CLASS DETAILS Next class will be held WEDNESDAY April, 6. Coaches will start gathering at 8:30pm (EST) to answer questions and set the theme for the night. First-time students are encouraged to arrive early so we can get your details and make sure your microphone is working, etc. (Check the sidebar for accessing Mumble: our server similar to vent/teamspeak). Other interested students are expected to be in our B.NET channel (SC2_class) and on mumble by 9PM. If possible, create your mumble name the same as your SC2 character ID followed by ID number (e.g. OPisDiamond.478).

On Monday or Tuesday before class I will write a post giving class details for that week, and if you plan on attending, try to comment to A) help with the headcount and B) show interest in the event so others come.
