Hey all, this is your friendly neighborhood Araxom just dropping in. Over the course of the last week or so, I've seen an increased number of reports by players either here or on our own site, reporting the StarCraft II launcher is just hanging on checking for updates without making much progress. Generally, this is mostly going to affect those players who have been away from the game for a while and needed to patch, or those who are performing a fresh install.

If this is affecting you, please check out the following troubleshooting page - those steps do resolve the majority of issues we see as a result of that. If it's not affecting you, bookmark the page in case it ever does! :)
