Looks like this is going to be the gift that keeps on giving.
They have no fucking idea what they're doing, or more importantly, how to fix the years of tricking code and workarounds in order to get the engine to 'work'.
I'm sure the answer is going to be that they need more Jesus tech in order to get 3.18 and PES to work. Not because it's difficult, but rather, they are fighting literally their own code. This will become increasingly common and is probably one, if not the top reasons, as to why they take so fucking long to do literally anything. This will never improve.
2023 will be a bunch of .1 patches in an attempt to fix this, which it mostly won't. They'll throw shit at the wall in hopes of getting at least some stability. If/when that even happens, we're already at the end of 2023. For a patch that was the only content release of 2022. In a year where dumb fuck Roberts boasted about Pyro being implemented.
What you are seeing now, will be the rest of 2023 and beyond.
