The 3.18 patch was 'released' to testing when CIG took a shit on the floor and then ran off on holiday vacation at the end of 2022. So it's been either roughly 2.5 months, or, 9ish months that people have been waiting for this (or any) update, depending on how you look at it.

Looking over at the cult forum, and seeing how fucking insanely rabid they are for this 'update', I feel like I am completely missing out on something. I know, I know...they get excited over basically anything. And yes, 85% of the 'update' will be broken as fuck. Totally agree.

If I remember right before basically not looking at any of the 'development' (LOL) they are doing, all this update was:

- The PES shit where you can 'leave your coffee cup' and it'll still be there. Yay. Ok. Games have done this for a decade or more. You have apparently also not figured out that this will literally have people leave heaps of trash and wreckage and who knows what all over the place, on purpose, forever. But...yay coffee cup?

- Salvaging Tier -730. It's MS paint in space. I couldn't make it through a 5 minute youtube video about it because of how absolutely boring it was.

- A new 'exploration' location. Fucking seriously? That's not even exploration. It's a bullshit POI. You should literally have a million of these at this point.

- More racing shit? Because that's exactly what we've been waiting for.

- A river/canyon water thing. Whatever, it doesn't even fucking work and looks like someone tried to make a replica of an actual river using only stones and sticks while playing Medieval Dynasty. Next.

- Someone updated with the NPC AI? I swear I've heard that before and we all know how that went.

So what am I missing? All I see is broken shit and 9 months to add.....a couple hours of content to the game?
