I was making a delivery/cargo run in my Reliant, to the Bountiful Harvest Outpost on Daymar. Jumped to the nearest point (OM-6 I think) lined up and began my landing run. Typically I max out my afterburners till. I hit atmo. then coast/decelerate at SCM speeds or a little over until I'm within 2km.

This time however I had to pee.

So I got up, I figured I had a good two minutes before I got there and went to do my thing.

I get back and see that not only am I now completely past atmo. but still traveling at about 1100 m/s. The ground was getting awfully big, awfully fast.

First thing was pull up, like all the way up, and after burners to full and hope and pray I don't end up as a new crater. I managed to get my speed down to about 150 m/s before I slammed Into the ground. I snapped off my right/bottom wing and destroyed my engines, but I was alive.

I was alive, 2 km out from Bountiful Harvest and just sitting there I had about 45 minutes of air. I grab the delivery and start trekking. At 1 km out I started to get worried, I had ten minutes of air left in my suit. I knew I didn't want to sprint so I calmly hiked on until I was nearly there.

Three minutes of air left.

I gave in and started sprinting. I was inside of the crater now, I could see the air lock.

10m...

And I made it, I opened the airlock and cycled it as soon as I was inside. I had 30 seconds of air left when I walked up to the counter to deliver the package
