Hey! So I like Rust but I'm looking for something that is like Rust but isn't rust. In my search, this game came up. I have a few questions (I like going into games blind so try not to give away tootoo much plz).
1: Can I raid people? So if someone's ship is their base, can I raid their base like I can in Rust and then take all their stuff? Or is it more like in Tarkov where if I kill them, I get their stuff but only what was on them and I can't raid their actual base?
2: Can I easily and frequently find people to kill? Rust brings people to the monuments in the game and you'll just find them out in the world. Is this game like that too? Or is there a specific mode or something that I have to be in, in order to find people to PvP with? Can I kill people at any point? Or is it like in GTAV Online where if you're doing a mission I can't kill you and/or there is a passive mode so that players can avoid PvP altogether?
3: Is PvP profitiable? Is it something that you are supposed to do or encouraged to do in order to take someone else's stuff? Or is there not really so much point to killing someone?
4: Is it more like Tarkov? In that upon elimination, you lose all your stuff and get sent back to the hub? Or is it more like Rust? In that if you die, you can go straight back and try fight again?
5: Is the playerbase large enough to consistently PvP whenever I hop on? I understand that the game's main focus might not be PvP. but I would greatly prefer it if it was always an option.
6: Can I snipe people from halfway across a map? I like the idea of being sneaky, playing slow, sneaking up to a bush, and waiting for the perfect shot from miles away. How fast is the TTK? What speeds would it compare to out of other games? Is a headshot an instakill like in Tarkov? OR can you survive multiple headshots like in Rust?
7: Can I beat someone with bad gear if they have good gear if I am better than them?
I very much like the look and vibe of this game and I like PvP games so I'm hoping that this can fit the billl! I don't mind if it's not as PvP as Rust, I just need it to be more PvP than something like DayZ, where you'll occasionnally run into someone once every half hour on a high pop server.
Thanks for any and all replies. Sorry for kind of repeating some of the same things.
