Question about the Gladiator

From the description on the site, it says that the Gladiator can convert the cargo area to a bomb bay.
How does that work? When looking at it in the ship modification screen I don't see anything that sticks out where you can do this?
By default it has a cargo area. How do I get a bomb bay in it?
