I understand many have been playing this game for years and have years of abuse from CIG but StarCitizen is reaching a new audience in this phase, gamers who lurked for years are now taking a chance at SC and many who never even heard of SC are joining in - My self included last month. In the posts I have seen lately there is a fair amount of toxicity towards noob questions and massive discouragement for them to even attempt to play the game further.
We all know this game provides 0 layout for noobs, 0 training - So if you enjoy this game I would suggest we take some responsibility to foster in new players and encourage them and push them to have fun. This will push SC even bigger if others hear about this game being more accepting and easier to get into it becomes more adoptable by other gamers. Specially in the games critical state.
That said I think CIG is dropping the ball massively by not understanding the fragility of their players base currently and what they are doing to it. Pre Prod environments exist for a reason CIG.
Update: Just want to say the comments here are great, everyone's feedback has showed how much people do care. Incredible community
