So basically I worked at my local Starbucks back in high school for about 4 months, and left because my manager wouldn't stick to the terms we agreed on when I was hired. I could only work 15-18 hours a week and she told me I had to work 20-25 and "be a team player" despite my conflicts with school and personal life. 3 years later, I've been applying to several Starbucks stores who all have been advertising how much they need new baristas, and despite submitting 3 applications at different stores in the span of 3 months, I've heard absolutely nothing. I've been working as a barista at my college campus cafe, so I have plenty of relevant experience, but I'm stumped as to why these positions are all still active and I haven't even been offered an interview, especially when I got a call for an interview 24 hours after I applied when I used to be a partner, and I was wondering if my old manager could have made some note or something that would be making these locations hesitant to hire me.
