I love when I have a bit of control over a situation where I get a certain level of satisfaction when going against a customers.
Idk how to explain it so here are a few examples:
Customers in DT before we open: I may see you every morning on the camera before we open. I might be ready to go early and even take your order early by a few minutes. I will never do so. I will always make them wait down to the second right when the clock strikes to our opening time.
Regulars and their ridiculous orders: I may know your ridiculous order and you annoy the fk out of me, but I will always make you say your long and ridiculous order even if you’ve seen me for years now.
DT Customers after closing: I enjoy keeping my headset on after closing and hearing all the customers pull up and say “Hello” multiple times. It makes me so happy, especially when the day was so shit. I love hearing the silent disappointment and small anger.
I know it ain’t much but the it’s the small things 😂.
