Any US store managers or shifts know what the actual rules are regarding brakes? 228XXXX
Post Body

Hey there, first time posting on here. I was wondering if anyone knows the actual rules Starbucks has regarding breaks. I work at a store in Texas just in case statehood matters. It seems my shifts (or just 2 of them) give out breaks whenever they feel like it regardless of shift length. I was told when I started 2 years ago that the breaks were given in 2 hour intervals (give or take). Under these two shift leads I’ve missed about 18 breaks that I would get normally with others for similar length work days. Can anyone link me to the official starbucks policy on these or explain them to me? Thanks in advanced.

I see, that seems to be generally how our store operates. I have a chronic illness (that I’d prefer not to name so I can remain anonymous) that makes it hard to stand for more that 2-3 hours at a time. That’s why I was wondering thanks.

I see thanks.

Do you know if I have to bring in any documentation or talk to my SM or HR?
