So this customer wanted a six shot caramel brulee latte with a bunch of other special instructions. The sticker machine broke so the cashier wrote the info on the cup but it was very hard to read. It started getting busy so i made the drink and gave it to the customer and she says its supposed to be extra foam with light whip. I take the drink, scoop off the whip, and think whether i should just remake the drink or just steam some more milk and put the foam on top. Since it was six shots, i just steam some milk to get more foam. Now as i clean the pitcher, i apprently sprayed her with water by accident but i was facing the other way and didnt realize i did (i seriously did not know, i feel bad if it happened). She didnt say anything to me and went right to my manager and said she was going to write to corporate and never come here again. She said i seemed irritated but i was dealing with a lot of other difficult customers throughout the day and i was on bar all day so i guess my "smile" sort of faded and i had a resting bitch face when i made her drink. I did apologize to my manager and told her that i genuinly did not realize that i did some of the things she said and that she didnt bring any of these things to my attention. Sorry i couldnt "make the moment right"
Edit: she spoke to my shift first, then my manager. I talked to my shift today and im not worried about this anymore. She completely exaggerated the story and my shift knew so. She claimed i slammed the spoon on the spray nozzle to spray her cause i was angry to make her drink. I rinsed the spoon under the faucet, not spraying her from the spoon. I might have gotten a few drops on her when i rinsed the milk pitcher. I would never clean the spoon with the spray nozzle. She BSd the whole thing.
