I'm a pretty fresh face (211****) and the other green beans and I seem to be the only ones at my store that write cups consistently.
We get a lot of the same in the summer... Iced coffee, cold brew, iced tea, tea lemonade.
Inevitably, people grab others drinks or the tillrista makes a mistake. Yesterday I had a poor customer waiting through a 15 minute rush to tell me her drink wasn't out yet. It was, but said tillrista never asks sweetened/unsweetened and so I made it and called it as sweetened when she wanted it unsweetened.
Auuugh.
Okay, not writing cups during lulls, whatever. Not writing cups during a rush and everyone and their mom wants some variation of iced coffee or cold brew? WHYYYY. I ended up with so many remakes for stolen and incorrect drinks that the tillrista (oh, my shift by the way) got onto me for going so slowly and only doing one drink at a time (which is standard for remakes right?)
Write names, please. It goes beyond customer connection, it's just friggin' practical.
