I am a SS, been a partner since October 2007.
So I expressed an interest in transferring in September of last year because I was not getting along with a fellow SS (ongoing issue, no improvement, long story). I told her I didn't want to have to transfer, but it was a really bad fight going on. Things have gotten better now. We work together no problem.
I told her last month that I didn't want to be transferred anymore, she said "but you expressed interest in transferring." I told her things were better now, I don't want to transfer.
A few weeks ago she hires someone and starts training him as a shift. My hours get cut. I ask her about hours, she said she can't guarentee anyone any number of hours.
This morning I find out from another SS that this new guy is replacing me and my SM is going to transfer me out. My SM told two other SS that she told me I was transferring already and I knew. She never told me she was transferring me.
Is she allowed to do this? Can I refuse to be transferred? Or do I have to go where she says?
