My store is going through a huge management switch and all of them are consistently scheduling me outside of my availability leaving me to stress about finding coverage on order to not miss classes that I intentionally built my schedule to fit. They are also sending out schedules and going back and changing them weeks after they've been posted. I am not missing a doctor's appointment tomorrow that I scheduled last week for before my shift because my manager moved that shift up by several hours just two or three days ago and I don't know what to do. Like I can't just reschedule everything because my manager doesn't know how to build a schedule but I also can't not show up and risk getting fired. My asm looked at my availability request and told me he wasn't going to approve it because I'm not available Wednesday and Thursday nights even though I told him I have classes every week and my availability was literally as open as physically possible. He said that I can't choose when I can't work but isnt that literally what an availability request is for?
