My sm misgendered one of our partners today so I corrected them. My sm then replied with "yeah, thanks for telling me. You should let her know to correct me next time." The partner in question uses they/them pronouns. Personally this isn't a situation I've ever seen with anyone in the company and I've been here for over a year now and worked at a good 75% of the stores in my district. Is this something I should bring up with my DM, or do I just kinda ignore it unless it happens again? I don't think my SM had bad intentions, like he doesn't seem like the type to just blatantly disrespect you to your face, but I don't think he understands the importance of respecting someones pronouns. As a trans person, it can be absolutely draining to be misgendered because that shows the person youre interacting with doesn't really see you for who you are and there's pretty much nothing you can do about it. I don't want my SM to face repercussions for this, I just want him to understand how important this is.
