People love to watch me as I'm making drinks and assume I'm working on their drink. I was doing a drink that apparently looked similar to someone else's (a tall iced coffee, black) and this woman in her 20s immediately starts pointing at the drink and whispering to her friend and I see it out of the corner of my eye and ignore it. I continue making the drink and reading the label as I'm doing it, and the woman puts her hand up and says "um that's not supposed to have any syrup in it, and..." and I immediately just say "well this is an (read the label) for Kyle." and she dumbly says "so not mine." and I don't even look at her, just continue with the frapp I'm working on and in a deadpan tone say "yeah." Meanwhile, I was being hit with a closing rush soloing bar with occasional help and my espresso machines are down so its just frapps and frozen lemonades. All of my customers have been the church crowd today too, and I'm a trans dude 😑 today sucked so much ass but I thought someone should hear about it.
