M.S Earth and Planetary Science w/ no background
Post Body

I'm currently looking into graduate programs and the Earth and Planetary Science program really stood out to me - more specifically the planetary atmospheres and planetary habitability themes. I'm a little intimidated by the faculty and students who I've found to all have backgrounds in geology, physics, astronomy, or related sciences. I come from an architecture background having had the privilege of doing 3 years of research on plant-based systems with several phD students and havin published research. I see a note on their page that says " We recognize that students applying for Earth and Planetary Sciences hail from many backgrounds, but they all share common threads: an insatiable curiosity and a passion for science." Is this a long shot? Anyone here have any experience with this program and its prospects?
