[CS] Fault anomaly in the Great Swamp

I'm playing on Steam version of CS with Complete mod, in case that makes any difference.
I already have the Veles detector, and I'm standing right in front of the Fault anomaly, north of the Machine Shop. I see the artifact dot moving all over the place, but I can't find the actual artifact. How can I get it, or make it visible? Or am I just blind?
