S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Reborn another way - The heck is going on?
Post Body

Some time ago I asked about recommendations for mods after finishing Call of Pripyat, and someone pointed me towards this russian mod, which has been recently translated.

After some time of rest of the zone, I decided to go back and give the mod a try, and the first hour has been... weird. I mean, the Zone is weird already, but this has been russian weird: First a rap video, then, huh, gigant pseudogiants pursuing me. Then spiders I can't kill and a marathon to escape. Then zombies with minguns and grenade launchers. All right. The most normal thing I've seen is the, huh, moans of a woman that plays from time to time. Ah...

I'm a bit weirded out for what I'm finding here. Actually, my main problem is how progress is made. The first contact is "you have to run" and something about the Sadovsk (or whatever is called the CoP ship of the first map), then you have to exit the map because... well, because you have to exit the map. Now I'm not really sure of what to do, and I'm already fighiting bloody zombies with miniguns and the poor english translation

Does this mod get a bit more "normal" as you progress? I've seen several people asking on the ModDB page about where to find this or that thing of the history, and I'm not really in the mood to get lost in the Zone hours just to find a single character or not knowing where to go because the only direction I got was "I have to talk with <russian name> in <huge map>.
