What is the best way to deal with bloodsuckers?

So, I'm new to the series. I have about 20 hours in Stalker 2 and I have to say that the bloodsuckers are the most infuriating enemy I have ever fought in a game. I would rather fight a deathclaw with a bb gun while pouring alcohol in my eyes. It feels like one spawns every 200 meters and I had THREE spawn at the end of the Answers Come at a Price quest and I managed to kill 2 of them before I ran out of everything, just to reload the game and all 3 to spawn again. Running seems to be alright if you can keep stamina, but what I want to know is, is there an easier way to kill them?
