Listen I played SoC first, Then Misery, then Pripyat, then gamma, then clear sky. I watched the movie before I read roadside picnic so ig I did that out of order too, but the point is I love stalker. I love it in all of its versions and conceptions. Wich is why I think it’s wild too look down on someone for wich stalker they enjoy, or wich they think is the best one, or wich they play first.

The actual book was Russian then it was “Adapted” into a Russian film, wich some Ukrainian dudes watched and thought it would make a kick ass game world. It’s not like they’re telling you to watch the movie first right? Tarkovsky never told you to read roadside picnic before the movie and the strugatsky brothers are too dead to care what you do. So why should we?

If a dude wants help with Gamma, there shouldn’t be 50 comments WHINING about how he needs to play the trilogy first. There should be comments about the dudes question. You guys are grown adults.
