Hey all, I'm have been using Obsidian Onyx for quite some time now and I'd like to dive a bit into Timecode. Unfortunately I got my M2Go console used and it's missing the smpte module. So I'm wondering if there is a way I can get smpte data through another source, such as a usb soudcard, NDI, or Dante.
A bit about my setup: I have an M2go and an M-touch, I usually use both on most shows witch gives me licensing for many more universes than I need. I run the show on a laptop and external touch monitor. I have 2 wired Network cards (one for artnet, one for local network).
we use vmix to play various videos so my thought is to edit my video to have an audio channel that is dedicated to SMPTE then from vmix I can send either from Soundcard, NDI or Dante just that audio channel. I could use NDI Tools or Dante soundcard over the local lan to get the SMPTE audio into my laptop easily.
that all said, If I have an audio source wit SMPTE data, How would I get that routed into Onyx?
