School for my kid? International/Gov/Semi-Gov?

At the moment me and my wife are looking into our options. We already have a leading buddhist government school as an option(based on residency).
Other than that we are open to semi-government or international options as well.
We would love to hear your thoughts on the matter. We want him (3.5yrs) to have his primary/secondary education in English medium, even if it’s local syllabus.
