I am currently on the lookout for opportunities to pursue my Master's degree, specializing in fluid mechanics within the domains of civil engineering or computational engineering. I completed my undergraduate studies in civil and environmental engineering in Malaysia, the did some research in hydrodynamics. Presently, I am engaged with an engineering company where I contribute to the development of code for flood modeling.
My primary challenge at the moment is identifying suitable scholarships for a Master's program, and I find myself at a bit of a crossroads. I am uncertain about where to begin my search and would greatly appreciate any advice or insights you may have regarding available scholarships.
I am targeting a Master's program commencing either at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025. This is just for me to accumulate additional experience, fill knowledge gaps, and enhance my portfolio before starting my masters.
Ideally, I am considering renowned institutions in the UK such as Imperial College London or University College London, as well as universities in the US. However, I'm curious to know whether thinking of applying to these places are realistic for me?? and if there are specific scholarships I can actively pursue to support my educational endeavors. I have gotten really passionate about my scope and I know how the masters would help me in my journey.
If any of you have successfully secured a scholarship for a similar field of study, I would be immensely grateful for your guidance. It would be incredibly helpful to hear about your experiences and any advice you may have on the application process.
I do look forward to learning from your insights and experiences as I navigate this exciting yet challenging phase of my academic and professional journey. Oh and thanks in advance!!!!
Cheers
