I wanted to ask any experts out there what to feed my squirrels. I used to feed them peanuts mostly, but I read that it's not very nutritious and is pretty much just a treat to them. I read that they're supposed to like vegetables, and so I bought baby carrots for them, but they refuse to eat them.
They'll smell it then decide my fingers look tastier than the carrot.
Even if I just drop them on the ground they just keep coming and staring at me through my window until I give them peanuts.
One of them is (was?) pregnant so I want to make sure she gets enough nutritious food so she can be healthy. Any advice?
