I wonder how much it costs to be a giant organization with their own private island, a giant apartment for their workers, food for workers and players, weapons, ammunition, and high tech. Where can they get all that money anyway? I would assume that they could get their profits from posting videos of their games to the dark web. They could earn more by finding and investing in their own doctors to harvest and sell organs of their fallen players (without using one of the doctor player secretly of course). They probably have other methods of income since they dont need the bodies considering that they burn them.

I know real life mobsters can have access to many things but I have never heard of one illegal underground organization owning every thing at the same level as this show. You would need more than just a few politicians turning a blind eye (which requires lots of money alone)
