Coming close to moving from Alaska to Nebraska, I decided to do a trip out in my 78 k10 to get it fueled and test my new carburetor adjustments. She drove good, didn't use as much fuel (I adjusted the mixture screws to about 1.5turns out since she's been running rich for a while now).
When I came to a gas station to fuel up it parked fine, but the hose didn't reach my 2nd tank so I pulled back and went to the adjacent pump. When I put it in park, it just kept rolling like it was in neutral. I attempted park a couple more times but nothing. It shifts in all the other gears fine but won't park.
Now the gear indicater has always been off, a trans shop a couple years ago adjusted it for me but maybe a month later it was back at being halfway wrong lol. But I wouldn't think this should affect it. I haven't checked the linkage in full since the exhaust was beeming hot but i have it a good shake and nothing felt off. Any ideas where to look at next 💡
