Brand new PM2 as of about 3 weeks ago. Everything felt smooth and blade flicked open easily. Then, today, it got rough feeling when opening slowly. Like the detent ball is dragging harshly against the blade base where it makes contact. If I press the lock completely, the blade swings effortlessly so I know it’s the detent ball causing the issue. Is the ball supposed to roll in its housing or is it static? Seems it would be made to roll so as not to wear a groove in the blade base where it rides. I have taken it apart to check for dirt or debris and found nothing out of place. I added a tiny amount of silicone lubricant to the pivot and detent. This did nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
