Substitute or regular teachers in Springfield area, I have a question.

My wife just started as a substitute teacher. This week she was one particular elementary school and she says just about everyone was really mean. I would think that with how few subs there are available, people would at least try to be a little nicer. Are there schools she should avoid and are there others with a nicer staff? Thanks.
