What's up with the Allen & Ginter cards???

Can someone please explain to me what's up with the Allen & Ginter baseball cards? Found some decent looking cards for classic players such as Babe Ruth and George Brett. The mini cards are ok, but what's up with these random cards of old dude from Man Vs Food(and not even Adam!) And a bald eagle amongst others???
