Conflict of interest?

Can you guys (the mods I guess) explain how you will ensure transparency in this sub? It seems like a huge conflict of interest to have vendors as the majority of your moderators. Are there any policies in place to limit abuses of power by the vendor/mods?
In the past with other defunct subs there were issues of vendors removing negative reviews.
If anyone else has ideas to limit potential abuses, please post them.
