I went to the Hollywood Halloween parade. Mind you, its not really a parade, but they block off the streets and we all wander around, getting hammered and gawking at the other costumes.

Alas, It was pretty disappointing. It was crowded, but maybe only half of people were wearing a costume at all. Even of those in a costume, maybe like an 8th of those were barely in what I would consider a costume.

Now I dont know about you, but I expect more out of an adult's costume than a child. I understand if you only dress the kids up to take them out trick or treating and you dont do it because its silly, but if youre going to a "grown up" Halloween event, youd better be in a costume and your costume had better be borderline art, doing political commentary, or at least making a meme! BUT TO NOT HAVE A COSTUME AT ALL WILL NOT STAND!!

So we will become the Skeletinquisition. Next year We will get red inquisitor robes and skull masks (or facepaint) we will buy a bunch of cheap dollar store Halloween costume crap: masquerade masks, cat ears, witch hats, devil horns, dracula capes. Fill a gym bag with it. Get your whole gang involved.

We'll go to Halloween events in squadrons and tell people not in costume that they aren't "up to code" and this is "a violation" and hand out costume bits.
