Hello, Spongebob fans! I'm coming onto this subreddit to share my conclusion to a very controversial Spongebob theory.

Many of you may know about the alleged deleted scene from the episode "I Was A Teenage Gary" which is said to feature Squidward transforming into a snail. This theory came about because of the wipe transition which is used to cut from Squidward being injected with the snail plasma to Spongebob, Squidward and Gary on a fence as snails.

Early June of this year, I was digging through boxes in my attic and came across a box full of old VHS TV recordings. One of these tapes was simply labeled "Blues Clues Spongebob Squarepants" I'll post a picture here: http://imgur.com/r3JRqjq

I was viewing the tape and by matching the date of commercials, I was able to find out a couple of the Spongebob recordings are premieres. One of which was Scaredy Pants/I Was A Teenage Gary.

I wasn't aware of the deleted scene rumor until I posted about this to the Facebook group "90s Nickelodeon Fans". Not long after, I received a message from a member of the group asking for me to check if the alleged deleted scene was on the tape. I've already been asked how do I know it's the premiere? It's quite simple. Before the theme song plays, Lori Beth Benberg from Nickelodeon's "All That" introduces the upcoming episode as "A super new, super spooky SpongeBob Squarepants." as part of Halloween Nickelozone. So there we go. I felt I needed to make a post about this, seeing how this subreddit gets quite a bit of traffic by the Spongebob fan community. I hope you are all happy to know the truth to this theory :)
