Hello everyone!

I'd like to give thanks to everyone who participated in the Bowsette crowdsourcing. After some internal discussion, the heads of the project have decided to move the project over to a lead writer, deepdiredescent, in order to finish her up. You can expect to see a bit more consistency in tone and character once they've gotten into the swing of things. This does not mean she's being removed or anything, in fact, its more likely that she'll make a close push to sponsorship and joining the main roster this way.

This crowdsourcing project has been a very experimental process, with plenty of ups, downs, and some questionable decision-making on my part, but I've definitely gotten some insights along the way about how to do this better in the future.

We don't have any formal plans for the crowdsource tool in the future, but that's not to say there's no chance of us running another, or opening up the tool to existing characters, or using it for contests, or maybe even letting users start their own projects. If you think you've got the chops to helm a crowdsource project of your own, or maybe you had a go at crowdsourcing lines and you're interested in making a character from scratch, why not pop into the dev discord and have a chat?
