I REALLY don’t want to spend $60 on Splatoon 3. I don’t really care for the controls, I’ve never enjoyed FPS, (even if it’s amazing graphics like S3,) and I’m far too anxious to play against other people. While I really enjoy watching my boyfriend and sister-in-law wreck shit in Turf War, even then I find myself tensing all the muscles I can, moving my body juuuust slightly in mirroring their movements in-game, or holding my breath/literally biting my finger (another of my dumbass stress responses lol) anytime there’s a close call or an amazing, last-minute save.

But TableTurf… I can sit and ponder my moves, or what my opponent’s moves may be, and even my next move, once I decide my first… for as long as I want with no penalty. Or I can speed round and force myself to make snap decisions to play out different mistakes. It’s exactly the speed I want it to be whatever that may be from day to day. I like being able to see each play before I make it, to determine the best possible placement of each piece. I love the strategy, how it changes based on the board and the different pieces. And honestly, playing has been so relaxing. Y’all PLEASE help I can’t spend $60 just to sit and play TableTurf, there HAS to be something similar or a clone SOMEWHERE.

And if there isn’t… Any game designers/app developers who read this, hmu, let’s talk about this. I KNOW this is marketable. I’ve played four hours of it already, in between his playing Turf War and Single Player.

I really hope you’re all enjoying the new game and the extras!! 🫶🏻 I’m pretty disconnected from my peers in general, so I don’t know how it’s been received overall, but everyone in my small circle loves it. Aside from the network issues that need worked out; sister-in-law almost always has to back out and start a new battle because continuing after a match gives a communication error. Other than that, which I know will be fixed? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
