Is there a place I can find people to play with?

The post I made before has been deleted because it was a little too vague and confusing.
I've been in Splatoon discords where there are matchmaking areas but at the same time those matchmaking areas on the discord servers aren't very active and aren't the main focus of the server. Is there a server just for matchmaking or only focuses on matchmaking?
If there isn't I would love to help make one~
